The reason for the season

There comes a time in everyones life when you forget that you are not alone in your struggle. We have been so blessed by the love and support of those around us, not just friends and family but also those in our community. In our careful planning it had not occurred to us that we didn't have a tree, the nice people from town brought us one with lots of ham and candy. lol. Christmas has a way of bringing out the best in people, I am so thankful for the blessings we have received. The kids loved having a tree to decorate and it'll be nice to have something to put in their stockings.

Remember always that you are not alone, hard times are meant to draw you closer in you walk with God. There are many blessings in times of struggle, but there is great joy in giving. In these last days before Christmas please take the time to bless those in need around you. :) Blessings of the season everyone.

Today we lay to rest a kind man from our town, Please keep the Schmitz family in your prayers. Thanks.
