Hi! This list is FANTASTIC!:)
I could post a similar list about the questions my oldest son gets, which are very frustrating. His job IS running the farm; raising livestock; growing a market garden; tending the orchard, etc. Yet people always say "so when are you going to get a job?" *sigh*. The wealthy cattle ranchers who live next to us, who deal exclusively in raising, breeding and selling cattle, are somehow considered valid ranchers, but because Steven's operating is still small and building up, no one recognizes it as being exactly the same occupation as the cattle ranchers next door. Some days I feel like if I hear one more person say "so your son lives at home and doesn't work" - I'm gonna slug someone! I could not do even half of what he gets done in a day - hard, physical work; and without him the place would go to shreds. He shrugs it of -- I think it bugs me more than it does him that people just don't understand.
