Things are moving along
Curriculum for the upcoming year has been ordered, the chicks should arrive today (we got 100). I plan to get some seed potatoes in the ground this week, in our raised beds. Mag is milking beautifully, even though she has adopted 2 calves (Coffee and Spot), we still get a gallon a day. We got alfalfa pellets by the ton from the Co-op in Oxford and she is really enjoying her treats :) Coffee's cough seems to be improving without the newflor (?sp). So much to do so little time :) Well back to taxes I go so that we can get them out the door.

Just curious with what you do with all the milk?
What curricula did you choose? (You can email me if you'd rather not post it to the blog.) I'm impressed you've ordered it already!
100 chicks?! We just got 23 and are going to try slaughtering some for the first time here in a few weeks.
My daughter may be getting some for 4-H, too, though. And if the slaughtering goes well, we may be ordering 100 ourselves!
Crystal we sell milk. Dana, good luck with your 23, we found the butchering to be ok last year. I think I have a pictorial on, if you need it :)
