Preparation for the weekend ~ May be graphic

In preparation for the weekend's hog butchering I have decided to give you a wonderful how to video on processing and cooking the head :)

Tis grand that you have recorded this important homesteading skill. Raising animals for meat is not for the squeamish, but it does feed us well!

Love the wedding photos too.

I can't watch video's with my dial-up. But my plans for the head is removing all the meat and grinding it in with my sausage. The ears are good for bean, or raw hiding them for the dogs. Haven't decided yet.

We will have to be quick if we are doing 2. It takes 6 hours to do 1, and that is those people that actually know what they are doing. ;)
