Q: Can I return an item to Wal-Mart that I purchased at Target/Kmart/Dollar General?
A: The best answer to this question would be maybe. According to Refunds and Exchanges: FG 504 - Refunds without a receipt, the last paragraph reads:
"Merchandise currently carried by Wal-Mart can be returned to any Wal-Mart Store, regardless of whether the merchandise was originally purchased at a Wal-Mart Store."

The reason that the answer to this question was maybe was because of the stipulation that it must be a current item. Truth be told though they will take it as long as it scans. Even if the packaging says a different stores name, lol :)
